“Alex's music is not only enjoyable to listen to, but his message is timeless and inspirational” - Aaron Michael

Bio

Alex channels music from sweet requiems to rowdy protest anthems. Alex invites listeners to deepen their inner work to fuel the action needed to bring peace and justice to all of life.
Like Jason Mraz and Trevor Hall had a love child, Alex writes and performs conscious, alt-indie music. He draws from his training in healing arts to express honor for the self, others, and the world at large to guide his music.
From breakdancing to his parents’ Smashmouth CD to listening to his grandfather practice his cello every Tuesday night, Alex developed a passion for music at an early age. Driven by a deep sense of purpose and yearning for truth, he left home to answer a call to understand himself and bring people together in peace.
His quest for truth has carried him on a grand journey across the US, to living in Peru to study shamanism, to studying Medical Qigong for three years under a Hawaiian qigong master, and beyond. These experiences have guided him to the symbiotic paths of songwriting/performing and healing arts, which intertwine to create a nurturing wellspring of conscious, positive music… needed now more than ever!
Alex was asked to close out Boulder Pride last year, and has a habit of performing at conscious events like the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center Summer celebration, the Sunrise Movement Climate March, and for US Senate candidate Lorena Garcia. At his last gig he and his friend packed the house at VisionQuest Brewery.
