Alex channels music from sweet requiems to rowdy protest anthems. He invites listeners to deepen their inner work to fuel the action needed to bring peace and justice to all of life.
Like Jason Mraz and Trevor Hall had a love child, Alex writes and performs conscious, alt-indie music. He draws from his training in healing arts to express honor for the self, others, and the world at large to guide his music.
From breakdancing to his parents’ Smashmouth CD to listening to his grandfather practice his cello every Tuesday night, Alex developed a passion for music at an early age. Driven by a deep sense of purpose and yearning for truth, he left home to answer a call to understand himself and bring people together in peace.
His quest for truth has carried him on a grand journey across the US, to living in Peru to study shamanism, to studying Medical Qigong for three years under a Hawaiian qigong master, and beyond. These experiences have guided him to the symbiotic paths of songwriting/performing and healing arts, which intertwine to create a nurturing wellspring of conscious, positive music… needed now more than ever!

This offers a unique and intimate way to get to know your new favorite songs. Before you hear the song on your favorite playlist, you get to hear it in the round.
The event is also a fundraiser for Out Boulder County, facilitating connection, advocacy, education, research and programs to ensure LGBTQ+ individuals, youth, and communities thrive in Boulder County and beyond.
